Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for conducting surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, collaborating with technical experts committed to impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications.
• Provide technical oversight and contribute ideas for new products or services, and plan new designs.
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and Datasets.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
• Perform MOVA validations of complex junctions and roundabouts.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on existing Traffic Signal Design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications.
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking.
• Experience with LinSig 3.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
