Job Description:

Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings following approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and planning
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Perform MOVA Validations for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and are ready to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing fresh perspectives to Traffic Signal Design solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Experience with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
