Job summary

Brent Council is recruiting a Senior Traffic Order Maker to support the Healthy Streets and Parking Team in preparing and implementing Traffic Management Orders and other statutory processes. You will help manage traffic and parking schemes, monitor notices and respond to objections, while using ParkMap and deputising for the Team Leader when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of HNC, BTEC or equivalent in civil engineering that includes traffic-engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Leader with the preparation and implementation of Traffic Management Orders and other statutory processes.
• Assist with permanent and temporary traffic regulation orders including display and monitoring of public notices.
• Collate and respond to formal objections and representations.
• Lead on the use of ParkMap software and deputise for the Team Leader of Traffic Orders as required.
