Job summary

Amey Ltd in the Preston Brook, Runcorn area is hiring a permanent LTMO/Ganger to join our Area 10 Strategic Highways account. You will lead Traffic Management operations across the strategic road network, supervise a TM team and ensure safe installation and removal of TM in line with Chapter 8 requirements.

You will mentor operatives and apprentices, contribute to maintenance activities to KPI targets, and collaborate with Supervisors, Controllers and Pre-Works Technicians to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• LGV Class C Licence and CSCS card held with current competencies.
• Experience delivering Chapter 8 traffic management on high-speed roads.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead Traffic Management operations across the strategic road network.
• Supervise and mentor TM operatives and apprentices within the team.
• Ensure safe installation/removal of temporary traffic management to Chapter 8.
• Plan resources and drive maintenance activities to KPI targets.
• Liaise with supervisors, controllers, pre-works technicians, emergency services and clients.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
