Job summary

BUKO Traffic & Safety seeks a Senior Traffic Management Designer (CAD) to lead the design team, oversee TTM drawings and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with legislation and standards. You will mentor CAD Technicians, coordinate with clients, and drive consistency across projects.

The role requires strong technical judgment, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development within a busy traffic management environment.

Qualifications

• Lead a design team to deliver safe, compliant TTM drawings.
• Mentor junior CAD Technicians and review designs.
• Maintain knowledge of traffic management legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate Temporary Traffic Management designs using CAD and Cone.
• Oversee design risk assessments and ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage drawing registers, minutes and cost capture information.
• Audit site works to verify alignment with approved designs.
• Provide technical guidance and enforce consistency across teams.
