Job summary

Millennium Management LLC in London seeks a Trade Support Specialist to join the Operations & Middle Office. You will ensure timely trade capture and affirmation across multiple asset classes including credit, rates, bonds and FX, working with Portfolio Managers and internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in traded products, strong prioritisation skills, and familiarity with systems like MarkitWire, Markit Trade Manager, Bloomberg and Murex.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with traded products including credit, rates, bonds and FX.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and prioritise multiple deliverables.
• Strong market understanding of credit, rates, bonds and FX and regulatory developments.
• Balance autonomous work with team collaboration while delivering projects alongside BAU.

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Managers and internal teams to ensure timely trade capture and affirmation.
• Automate and streamline processes to reduce operational risk and improve speed.
• Monitor trade queue and clear exceptions from new bookings.
• Resolve queries from Portfolio Management teams and counterparties.
• Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams to match economic breaks and confirm electronic affirmations.
• Remediate non-electronic affirmations and address non-flowing trades.
• Provide T+1 support and inform impacted parties of issues.
• Escalate process failures to stakeholders and senior management.
• Follow the sun model to handover tasks across regions and ensure coverage.
• Identify pain points and deliver process-improvement initiatives with stakeholder sign-off.
