Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is representing a well-established independent planning consultancy recruiting a Senior or Principal Town Planner for the West Midlands. You will work on site appraisals, planning strategy, feasibility advice, design input and local plan representations,

Qualifications

• MRTPI-accredited planner with private sector experience and knowledge of the local authority planning process.
• Proven ability to manage complex planning applications including outline, full and reserved matters submissions.
• Experience preparing planning statements, Statements of Community Involvement, and other supporting planning documentation with minimal supervision.
• Excellent understanding of development management and local plan processes, site appraisals, and strategic planning advice.
• Experience representing planning proposals at committees and managing appeals, including hearings and inquiries.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to mentor junior colleagues.
