Zusammenfassung

SYSTRA Ltd is seeking an experienced Principal Town Planner in the UK to shape project strategy and lead complex planning and consenting activity. You will manage client relationships, coordinate approvals, and guide teams to deliver compliant solutions for major infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will be Chartered RTPI members with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of driving bid activity and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Be a Chartered member of RTPI or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills.
• Proven track record leading complex planning and consenting projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to support work winning.
• Senior technical judgement and mentoring capability.

Aufgaben

• Lead delivery of complex planning and consenting project outcomes on time and within budget.
• Ensure technically sound planning solutions with reporting and cost estimating.
• Identify and deliver effective planning strategies for complex infrastructure.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within the team and support professional development.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive quality assurance and integration across multidisciplinary delivery.
• Support wider business projects from bid stage to delivery.
