Job summary

Morson Edge in Bristol is recruiting an RTPI-qualified Planner or Senior Planner to join a leading national property and planning consultancy. You will take project ownership, engage with clients, and contribute from feasibility to consent on a diverse portfolio across the South West.

The role sits within a collaborative planning team, offers exposure to development lifecycles, and develops technical and commercial expertise while building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• RTPI qualification or close to chartership for Planner level.
• Experience in consultancy or local authority planning environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload.
• Client-facing experience with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead planning applications, appeals and site appraisals.
• Prepare high-quality planning reports, statements and supporting documents.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to planning strategies for various development types.
• Support consultation processes and engagement with local authorities.
• Assist senior team members on complex and strategic projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
