Job Description:

As we move into AMP 8 and continue with our growth plans across the UK & Ireland, we're interested in hearing expressions of interest from Town Planners seeking their next career opportunity.

Stantec’s Environmental Service team collaborates with clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions. We seek driven individuals who think differently and challenge conventional thinking to join our growing, collaborative team.

We are currently seeking a Senior Town Planner for our Reading office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious team with significant scope for career progression.

Your responsibilities will include managing planning requirements for various projects, primarily for water industry clients, acting as the Town Planning Lead, advising clients, preparing and submitting planning applications, and liaising with internal teams and external consultants.

About You

You should be a chartered Town Planner or working towards chartership, with a relevant Environmental or Town Planning degree. Demonstrable experience in environmental or town planning is required, along with knowledge of legislation relevant to the water industry or infrastructure projects. Experience liaising with local planning authorities and statutory/non-statutory consultees is essential. Most importantly, embody our values of client focus and service excellence.
