Currently, we are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our Reading office. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a team with diverse and expanding projects, providing scope for career progression in the coming years.

Your responsibilities will include managing planning requirements for various projects, primarily for water industry clients through our key frameworks. You will act as the Town Planning Lead, advising on planning strategies, preparing and submitting applications for planning permission and listed building consent, EIA Screening Requests, and liaising with internal teams and external consultants.

About You

You should be a chartered Town Planner or working towards chartership, holding a relevant Environmental or Town Planning degree. You will have demonstrable experience in environmental or town planning, with knowledge of legislation under the Town & Country Planning regime, especially related to the water industry or infrastructure projects. Experience liaising with local planning authorities and statutory/non-statutory consultees is essential.
