Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Planner/Senior Planner in Cheltenham to work on a diverse portfolio of UK projects, including large-scale residential and commercial developments. You will coordinate applications, pre-application work, and appeals while liaising with clients and authorities in a supportive, small consultancy setting.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in planning, a Town Planning degree (RTPI accredited) and are working towards or have Chartership, with strong communication

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience within the planning profession.
• Good understanding of the UK planning system.
• Degree in Town Planning or related field, RTPI accredited.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior colleagues with coordination of large-scale planning applications.
• Manage own projects including pre-application enquiries, applications, and appeals.
• Support on larger strategic planning projects.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
• Develop technical planning knowledge and professional experience.
• Work closely with senior team in a collaborative environment.
