Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join the Cardiff team within a leading independent planning consultancy. You will manage planning projects, prepare and submit applications, and provide commercially focused advice to clients.

Qualifications

• RTPI qualified with MRTPI achieved or working towards chartership.
• Experienced across planning sectors and development types.
• Skilled in preparing, submitting and managing planning applications.
• Confident advising clients and managing projects.
• Commercially aware with strong planning system knowledge.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong team player contributing to Cardiff office growth.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning projects across sectors.
• Prepare, submit and manage planning applications to determination.
• Provide commercially focused planning advice to clients.
• Undertake planning research and strategic advice.
• Liaise with authorities, clients and stakeholders.
• Manage deadlines, priorities and competing demands.
• Support business development and Cardiff team growth.
