Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Town Planner to lead planning projects in Nottingham and the surrounding area, taking ownership from brief to consent.

You will manage planning applications, provide strategic advice, mentor junior staff and maintain strong client relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.

MRTPI qualification (or working towards) is preferred, with proven consultancy or local authority experience and a strong grasp of the UK planning system.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning strategies and securing consents for a wide range of projects. You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be a commercially aware and proactive planner with strong communication skills and a passion for development.
