Environmental / Town Planner

The Opportunity:

Our well-established Planning and Environment Team across the country handles a diverse range of projects, including renewable energy, waste management, industrial, commercial, and major infrastructure. We have an exciting pipeline, especially in renewable energy sectors like solar, battery, and wind technologies.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing advice on planning and environmental matters to clients such as renewable energy developers, utility and infrastructure companies, waste operators, house builders, land promoters, and investors throughout all planning stages.
• Shaping and assessing development project cases, including planning strategies, site appraisals, pre-application consultations, preparing planning applications and appeals.
• Conducting EIA screening and coordination alongside the EIA team.
• Managing planning projects, coordinating technical teams, and liaising with external parties like developers, landowners, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
• Community consultation, proposal preparation, some business development, and team supervision.

You:

Ideally, you will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, a strong track record in medium/large-scale planning projects, and high technical competency. Good analytical, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and problem-solve is critical.
