Job summary

Frontier Developments in Cambridge is seeking an experienced STG Tools programmer to develop and support Cobra-based tooling for game teams. You will extend Cobra, improve workflows for content creators, and collaborate with STG and project programmers.

The role offers in-studio or hybrid work (minimum 3 days in the studio) with relocation support. You will mentor junior programmers, write documentation, and help maintain toolchains and pipelines used across titles.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# / .NET with strong design and testing practices.
• Experience with WPF / XAML UI development.
• Experience creating and maintaining complex software packages.
• Experience scripting (Lua, Python) and data formats (XML, JSON).

Responsibilities

• Create and support development tools for game studios.
• Collaborate with UX and QA to maintain tool workflows.
• Document tools and provide mentoring to junior programmers.
• Contribute to Cobra-like pipelines and tooling strategies.
