Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Blackburn seeks an experienced Tool Designer & CNC Programmer. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' expertise in SolidWorks and SolidCAM. Responsibilities include designing precision tools, creating CNC programs, interpreting engineering drawings, and collaborating with manufacturing teams. This full-time role offers a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus annual bonus, with on-site work and hybrid opportunities after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tool design and CNC programming.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and SolidCAM or similar.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design precision tools and moulds using SolidWorks.
• Create and optimise CNC programs using SolidCAM.
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
