Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London is seeking a Senior Business and Functional Analyst to design and deploy TM modelling solutions within Group Strategic Analytics. You will translate business requirements into TM rules, build data pipelines, and monitor model performance.

You will collaborate across AFC, Technology, Investigations, and governance forums, handle data quality, and contribute to regulatory reporting while maintaining clear documentation and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and Python skills across end-to-end data workflows.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts for scalable storage and retrieval.
• Familiar with statistical and predictive modelling techniques to support data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrable ability to document information in a clear, structured way.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize data workflows using SQL and Python for acquisition, validation, ETL, and reporting, building scalable pipelines feeding dashboards and regulatory information.
• Develop and evolve reporting and analytics to monitor model performance and KPIs.
• Translate business requirements into TM rules, algorithms, and thresholds across AFC, Technology, Investigations, and Model Review.
• Investigate data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and track remediation for governance.
• Collaborate with 1LOD, Business Product Owners and AFC to translate requirements into TM specifications.
• Review AML TM findings and coordinate with AFC to strengthen controls.
