The Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst will shape cyber defence strategy by producing actionable intelligence that informs threat hunting, SOC priorities and improvement programmes, helping the business understand emerging risks to Intact, customers and services.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern threat actor behaviour, intrusion techniques, and cyber-attack trends.
• Demonstrable experience producing intelligence across tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
• Ability to correlate open-source intelligence, commercial feeds, SOC data, and internal telemetry to form clear and actionable insights.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, intrusion analysis frameworks, and structured analytic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence assessments focused on relevant threat actors, sectors, and emerging techniques.
• Maintain an accurate and current understanding of adversary behaviour, trends in exploitation, and developments in the wider threat landscape.
• Translate complex intelligence into meaningful insights that inform detection engineering, threat hunting, red teaming, and exposure management.

Win as a Team:

The Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing high quality intelligence that directly informs how Intact anticipates, detects, and responds to modern cyber threats.

This role provides strategic and operational insight that shapes the entire Cyber Defence strategy. Your intelligence will guide threat hunting, influence SOC detection priorities, support cyber improvement programmes, and ensure offensive security activities focus on realistic and relevant threats. You will help the wider business understand emerging risks to Intact, our customers, and our Important Business Services.

You’ll make an impact by:
