Job summary

National Bank of Kuwait (Int'l) Plc is seeking a Senior Third Party and Operational Resilience Manager to oversee governance, risk, and performance of external vendors and service providers. You will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, business objectives, and risk management frameworks while optimising costs and service quality.

You will embed resilience into business continuity, IT service management, and regulatory compliance, reporting to executive committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated environment.
• At least 5 years’ proven experience in management of 3rd-party functions within financial services with line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the third-party management framework across due diligence, contracting, onboarding, monitoring and exit.
• Maintain a structured 3rd party management framework with compliance to policies and regulations.
• Maintain the register of third-party/outsourcing arrangements with materiality and criticality ratings.
• Establish SLAs and KPIs to monitor vendor performance.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for vendors, mitigating potential risks.
• Integrate resilience planning into business continuity, ITSM, cyber security, and 3rd party management.
