Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Radiotherapy Radiographer to join the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre. The post involves pre-treatment scanning, treatment delivery, and brachytherapy, with opportunities to rotate through Treatment, Pre Treatment, Brachytherapy and Review.

You will work in a centre using Varian ETHOS, Halcyon, TrueBeams and HDR/LDR brachytherapy. Excellent patient care pathways and teamwork are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
• HCPC Registration is required.
• BSc Radiotherapy or DCR (T) is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver External Beam Radiotherapy using complex techniques and equipment.
• Participate in the delivery of Brachytherapy.
• Assist in pre-treatment pathways and planning activities.
• Provide information and support to patients and carers during radiotherapy.
