Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join our surgical team. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with weekend work and on-call commitments.

Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience, with 37.5 hours per week. You will be registered with the relevant governing body (NMC/HPC) and bring post-registration scrub experience across general, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, dental or vascular care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HPC).
• Post-registration theatre scrub experience required.
• Experience in General, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynae, ENT, Plastics, Dental and vascular.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Leicester Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC.

You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience.

You're a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

• Work with some of the best in the field.
• Enjoy a varied caseload.
• Put your communication skills to work.
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Shape patient experiences that are always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.

Experience in General, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynae, ENT, Plastics, Dental and vascular essential Added Speciality of either Anaesthetic or recovery skills recommended but not essential
