Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is recruiting a senior post in the anaesthetics and recovery theatre team. The role focuses on clinical leadership, supervising and mentoring junior nursing staff and students, and contributing to rotas, recruitment and training.

We require previous anaesthetic and recovery experience and NMC registration. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with evening, weekend and on-call cover as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Senior post in anaesthetics and recovery theatre.
• Essential anaesthetic and recovery experience.
• Post-registration experience.
• NMC registration required.
• Not-for-profit hospital environment experience preferred.

Job description

This permanent senior post sits in the anaesthetics and recovery theatre team at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital, a not-for-profit organisation. The core of the work is clinical leadership: supervising and mentoring junior nursing staff and students, and taking part in rotas, recruitment and training. The role is full-time at 37.5 hours a week and includes evening, weekend and on-call cover. Previous anaesthetic and recovery experience is essential, and NMC registration is required.
