The BBC manages vast amounts of content across multiple brands like iPlayer, Sounds, and News & Sport, accessible across various devices such as TV, mobile, and web.
We store content including programmes, topics, weather, sounds episodes, videos, news and sport articles, elections, sports data and stats, live pages for breaking news, and major events.
The UCC team will unify our content and metadata across the BBC, exposing it via a single API using AWS, Node, and TypeScript, with a consistent schema. This role offers a greenfield opportunity at the BBC, with responsibilities for designing, architecting, and developing the initial version.

As a Senior Tester within UCC, you will be involved in all aspects of the SDLC, including architecture, design, specifications, testing, development, and delivery.
