Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking a Senior Tester with strong Informatica Power Centre and Oracle expertise to test data integrations for a central government client.

The role focuses on validating data movement and transformation across environments, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for data workflows, and reducing downstream data issues. SC clearance is preferred, with hybrid work and three days onsite in the north of England.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing Informatica Power Centre in a data/testing role.
• Strong Oracle experience, large data volumes.
• Good SQL skills for querying/validating data.
• Background testing in data environments handling large data sets.
• Desirable: automation testing in a data context.
• Desirable: exposure to AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Desirable: experience with public sector or similar large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Test data integrations and large data sets, ensuring accurate data movement and transformation.
• Provide strong test coverage across data workflows and reduce data issues reaching downstream systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in a central government/government client environment.
• Support hybrid-working model with 3 days onsite across hubs in the north of England.

Senior Tester - Informatica / Oracle - central government - SC Clearance - 6 month contract (inside IR35)

I am looking for an experienced Tester with solid skills in Informatica Power Centre and Oracle to test data integrations and large data sets for our government client.

Due to the urgency and nature of the work, candidates who hold active SC clearance will be preferred.

The work centres on validating data movement and transformation, so you help maintain accurate and consistent data across environments. You will provide strong test coverage across data workflows and reduce the risk of data issues reaching downstream systems.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Power Centre in a testing or data role.
• Solid Oracle experience, ideally gained in environments with significant data volumes.
• Good SQL skills for querying and validating data.
