Job summary

Exalto Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Test Engineer / Test Lead to join a secure IT environment in Wiltshire. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) with a daily rate of up to £400 inside IR35, and a contract running until July 2027.

You will own testing across complex infrastructure and platform services, lead test activities, and ensure defect management and reporting are executed to a high standard. Active DV clearance and sole British nationality are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in test engineering, test leadership and test management.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Experience testing virtualised environments and complex IT platforms.
• Exposure to air-gapped or highly secure systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Active, transferable DV clearance and sole British nationality are essential.
