Job summary

Senior Test Engineer / Test Lead – DV Cleared

Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: Until July 2027

Clearance: Active DV required

Nationality: Sole British National

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer / Test Lead to join a secure IT environment, taking ownership of testing across complex infrastructure and platform services.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in test engineering, test leadership and test management.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Experience testing virtualised environments and complex IT platforms.
• Exposure to air-gapped or highly secure systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Active, transferable DV clearance and sole British nationality are essential. Desirable: Test automation, ITIL and experience in secure government or defence environments.
