Job summary

CAC I Information Intelligence Group (IIG) in the UK is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join a live, high-profile national security project. You’ll help shape quality from the outset, embedding automated testing across the software lifecycle and ensuring solutions are delivered with confidence, reliability and speed.

You will work closely with engineers, architects, DevOps and product stakeholders to champion quality engineering and drive continuous improvement, designing and implementing test

Qualifications

• Experience in both manual and automated testing, with a quality-first mindset.
• Ability to design and implement automated test frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automated testing solutions across UI, API and system levels.
• Embedding continuous testing within modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Combining automated and exploratory testing approaches to deliver high-quality software.
• Building and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks.
• Supporting non-functional testing activities such as performance, security, accessibility.
