Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile software delivery team. You will ensure quality across multiple business areas and work closely with SCRUM teams to test complex systems in a defence and aerospace environment.

Applicable Tools

• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and demonstrable evidence of relevant test methodologies and toolsets
• Desirable AWS and/or Azure Continuous Integration
• Experience of deploying and configuring complex software under Linux/Windows
• Ability to review and apply different tools and techniques e.g. monitoring, logging, performance testing

Responsibilities

• Apply test skills and experience within the context of an Agile software delivery team
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of automated test frameworks
• Define and manage test environments; create and manage test data; define and manage test tools
• Support estimation of test activities
• Support test team interactions with the wider development team and assist in the resolution of issues
• Contribute to the production of test documents using appropriate tools as required
• Raise defects and support the wider development team in their resolution
