Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Engineer to support a major Data Centre development in East London. You will manage the temporary works process, coordinating designs, approvals and inspections in collaboration with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Manager and design teams.

The role requires previous data centre experience or exposure to projects valued at £90m+ and a background with Tier 1 main contractors.

Qualifications

Experience as Temporary Works Engineer on major construction projects.
Data Centre experience desirable; Tier 1 contractor background valued.
Strong understanding of temporary works procedures and coordination.

Responsibilities

Manage the temporary works process across multiple areas of the project.
Coordinate temporary works designs, checks, approvals and implementation.
Maintain the Temporary Works Register and related documentation.
Review temporary works solutions with structural engineers and design teams.
Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs.
Identify and mitigate temporary works risks throughout construction.
Support site teams with technical advice and temporary works requirements.
Liaise with subcontractors to ensure proper management and maintenance of temporary works.
