Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited seeks an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator for a large-scale construction project in Birmingham. You will lead planning, design review, and safe dismantling of temporary works, coordinating with designers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with BS 5975 and UK health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures.
Valid TWC certification (CITB or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Oversee all temporary works operations on the project in accordance with BS 5975.
Function as the appointed Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring full compliance with procedures and controls.
Review and approve temporary works designs, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
Ensure that all designs are checked, signed off, and implemented correctly before use.
Maintain an up-to-date temporary works register and ensure all documentation is properly controlled.
Lead investigations into any incidents or non-conformances related to temporary works.
