Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Structural Engineer in Hertfordshire to join a small, specialist practice. The role covers temporary and permanent works, with hands-on design, site visits, and coordination with contractors and consultants to provide specialist structural solutions for diverse building projects.

Ideal candidates will be Chartered or near-chartered, with experience across contracting and design consultancy. Autocad proficiency is essential, and commuting to SG11 is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in both contracting and design consultancy environments.
• Temporary and permanent works design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drawing work.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design work and site visits to supervise execution.
• Communicate with contractors and consultants to prove specialist structural solutions for buildings projects.
• Assist with CAT 3 checks and contribute to permanent works design as required.
