Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Hertfordshire seeks a Structural Engineer specializing in temporary and permanent works. You will design temporary works schemes for office, residential and commercial buildings, coordinating with contractors and consultants on site.

Experience with permanent works design, Chartered or nearing status, and strong AutoCAD drawing abilities are essential. The role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement with a tax-free bonus and regular CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in temporary works and permanent works design.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or near Chartered status required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing production.
• Experience liaising with contractors and consultants.
• UK resident or eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design temporary works schemes for buildings and structures.
• Contribute to permanent works design where required and perform checks.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors and consultants on site.
• Produce and review drawings and calculations for temporary and permanent works.
