Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Project Manager to join our Infrastructure division, delivering structural and foundation testing projects with pride.

You will own end-to-end delivery, work independently yet collaboratively, and apply your engineering background to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and compliant with HSQE standards across diverse sites. The role offers variety across local, national and global projects with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Engineering/construction or technical qualification at RQF Level 5 or above.
• Project management qualification or demonstrable equivalent project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for allocated projects from mobilisation to close-out.
• Review project scope, order/contract requirements, programme, technical requirements, assumptions, risks and commercial allowances before mobilisation.
• Develop and maintain the project delivery plan, programme and key actions, escalating risks or constraints.
• Support client interaction and business development activity, including client meetings and site visits.
• Prepare quotations and pricing for routine and allocated works with appropriate margins.
• Work with Resource Planner to secure the required resources and logistics.
• Provide visible HSQE leadership and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
