The role offers a competitive £35,000–£45,000 salary depending on experience, Monday to Friday 8:00 am–5:30 pm, and access to brand tools, regular training, pension, and wellbeing perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in a vehicle workshop.
• Own toolbox and essential tools; workshop supplies special tools.
• Experience with German brands (VW, Audi, Mercedes, BMW) preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver precise workmanship under pressure.
• Strong team ethic and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electronic vehicle inspections and prepare comprehensive service reports.
• Utilise diagnostic testing equipment and manufacturer data to accurately diagnose faults.
• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and effectively, maintaining first-time fix standards.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to Front of House advisors and customers.
• Work closely with the business owner, supporting high standards of vehicle service as a Senior Technician.
• Participate in Top Garage and Top Technician competitions, representing the workshop.
• The Senior Technician will support team development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
