As a Senior Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:
- Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
- Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
- Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
- Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
Responsibilities will include;
- Drive service and standards and represent the Tesco brand well.
- Stand over workflow to prioritise day to day repairs using CMMS
- Own and successfully deliver the safe and legal audits
- Ensure all PPM's are carried out within specified timeframes and any recommendations are completed - Stand over L8 & LOLER and PUWER equipment on sites ensuring legal compliance at all times
- Deliver strong critical asset availablity through a tenacious and pragmatic approach
- Liaising with stakeholders on any intrinsic faulty equipment that is directly affecting operations
- Deliver strong compliance in terms of pest control through a proactive mindset
- Coodination & assurance of contractor works on site, be the go to person for best practice - Parts inventory management with a cost concious mindset.
- Continuous imrovement on SSOW / SOPs
- Completing any reasonable ADHOC requests as per line managers instruction - Multi site responsibilties and ownership
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will need
As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
