Job summary

KPI People is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician in Basildon to join a busy franchised dealership workshop. The role welcomes experienced technicians returning to the motor trade.

Responsibilities include servicing to manufacturer standards, engine and transmission repairs, diagnostics, warranty work, and MOT testing if qualified. Excellent basic salary with an OTE up to £50,000 and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• 2 years post-apprenticeship experience.
• Full and clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs/replacements.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Basildon have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Mechanic Warranty Repairs
• Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements

• Class 4 MOT Licence
• Manufacturer Accreditations
• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
