Become part of a national evolving Commercial Underwriting function within a reputable and stable organisation

• Act as one of the most senior referral points for our Regional Underwriting teams
• Hybrid role with 3 days a week working from home and 2 days based at one of our offices in Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, York, Glasgow or Belfast

About the role:

Join NFU Mutual as a pivotal member of our Regional Senior Technician Underwriting team, managing complex, high-value cases and ensuring technical activity delivery. You will advise, train, and guide others to maintain technical knowledge and capabilities across regions, meeting objectives, KPIs, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will manage the administration and resolution of intricate cases, ensuring regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for members. Additionally, you will train and coach team members, develop technical capabilities, and contribute to strategic planning for continuous improvement and efficiency enhancements.

Please note: The internal job title for this role is Regional Senior Technician – Underwriting.

About you:

You should have a proven track record in managing complex Commercial Underwriting cases, providing technical expertise in a regulated environment, and supporting or developing others.
