Job summary

Qualys is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to join our Training Team, delivering world-class technical training for Qualys IT security risk and compliance solutions in classroom and online formats. You will collaborate across Engineering, Product Management, SME, Sales and Support to ensure training content meets business requirements.

You will design, develop and deliver training materials, labs and simulations, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc degree or equivalent in computer science or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 3+ years delivering technical training in-person and remotely.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cyber Security products or platforms.
• Experience designing and developing training materials and assessments.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Willingness to travel independently for onsite training deliveries.
• Experience working across multiple geographic regions.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to define technical enablement needs with the training team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, SME, Sales and Support to align content with requirements.
• Manage and deliver technical training to customers, prospects, partners and internal staff, in-person or virtually.
• Design, develop, maintain and deliver training materials in modalities including eLearning, videos, simulations, labs and ILT.
• Independently design, build and deliver training courses and training aids like videos and lab guides.
• Be an advocate for Qualys products and contribute to training program success.
• Assist Leads on Training Projects and peer-review content.
• Develop expertise on flagship products and address knowledge needs of the support organization.
• Design and maintain virtual lab environments and lab guides for courses.
• Manage Learning Management System functions relevant to job duties.
