Job summary

SECOM Plc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Manager for its High Security Services division. This hybrid role links IT infrastructure, field engineers, and high-value clients in secure environments.

You will lead a team, manage Tier 3 escalations for IP CCTV, access control, biometrics, and intruder alarm systems, and travel to offshore sites to support deployments. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, advanced IT networking knowledge, and 5+ years in electronic

Qualifications

Engineering background in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Advanced IT proficiency with networking concepts, AD, Windows Server, and SQL basics.
Minimum 5+ years in electronic security or related high-security environments.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and offshore locations; valid passport and driving licence required.
Ability to obtain security clearances (BS7858, SC/DV) as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage remote and field-based technical support engineers.
Escalate complex IP CCTV, access control, biometrics and intruder alarm issues (Tier 3).
Bridge client IT networks with SECOM security hardware for secure integrations.
Develop SOPs, system configuration guides and documentation.
Host client meetings, define requirements, roadmaps, and security solutions.
Travel to customer sites, offshore locations, and manufacturer sites as needed.
Provide hands-on technical training and product demonstrations.
