Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a Staff Technical Support Engineer in the United Kingdom to act as a senior technical leader across satellite navigation test and simulation platforms. You will own complex escalations, mentor teams, and drive systemic improvements in product reliability and supportability.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in RF/GNSS domains, deep Linux and scripting skills, and experience with Salesforce, Jira, and observability stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 8+ years in technical support, field engineering, or systems integration in RF/GNSS domains.
• Strong Linux internals, performance tuning, and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with RF test equipment, signal chains, and network diagnostics.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and influence engineering on high-pressure escalations.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Git, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Escalate and resolve multi-layered software/hardware issues affecting customers.
• Lead root-cause analyses with Product, R&D, QA, and Field Engineering.
• Develop diagnostic tools and automation to improve support efficiency.
• Own post-incident reviews and communicate remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with key accounts during major escalations and strategic reviews.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, upgrade planning, and health assessments.
• Act as trusted advisor during major transformations.
• Design scalable support workflows and observability pipelines.
