Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead Integration Platform initiatives connecting systems, products, suppliers and partners across the organisation. You will drive planning, coordination and delivery from discovery through implementation and adoption, partnering with Engineering, Architecture, Product and Business teams to shape the evolution of integration capabilities.

Summary

As a Senior Technical Program Manager within the Integration Platform domain, you'll play a key role in delivering the technology capabilities that connect systems, products, suppliers and partners across M&S. Working across a complex landscape of APIs, integration services and platform technologies, you'll lead the planning, coordination and delivery of strategic initiatives that improve resilience, simplify the technology estate and enable teams to move faster.
You'll provide leadership across multiple programmes and workstreams, creating clarity, managing dependencies and driving delivery from early discovery and investment planning through to implementation and operational adoption. Partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product and Business stakeholders, you'll help shape the evolution of our integration capabilities and support M&S's wider digital and technology transformation.

What you’ll do

• Lead the delivery of Integration Platform programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment to agreed outcomes, timelines, quality standards and investment objectives.
• Shape portfolio plans, governance and roadmap priorities, managing risks, dependencies and critical delivery activities across interconnected programs.
• Deliver clear, data-driven reporting on portfolio performance, progress, risks and investment tracking to support informed decision-making.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering and Business teams to build alignment, resolve challenges and enable successful delivery.
• Develop and support Technical Programme Managers, championing continuous improvement and delivery excellence across the portfolio.

Who you are

• You bring experience delivering complex technology programmes across multiple teams, stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience in programme and portfolio management, including planning, governance, dependency management and risk management.
• Comfortable working in evolving environments, creating structure, clarity and focus where needed.
• Able to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders through clear communication, collaboration and insight.
• Experience leading, coaching or supporting delivery teams, balancing strategic thinking with strong execution and attention to detail.
