Job summary

ST Selection in Poole, England, seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead internal product software solutions, automations and integrations across business systems.   • Experience with Git and Visual Studio.

Job Title – Senior Technical Product Manager

Location – Poole, Dorset

Salary – Circa £75k

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager who

will be responsible for Internal product software solutions, automations and integrations across all

internal business systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing and maintaining internal integrations, automated workflows, and tooling that supports the SaaS platform and all other business systems such as Sage and Salesforce.

They will work closely with internal stakeholders to; streamline processes, optimize integrations and materially reduce manual effort, ensuring data flows reliably and accurately across the organisation to the point of need.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Systems Integration & Development
  • Design and build robust integrations between internal applications
  • Develop internal tools and services that support operational teams
  • Create and maintain API-based and event-driven workflows
Automation & Internal Solutions
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes
  • Build workflows using Azure Functions, Power/Logic Apps, IPaaS and other tools
  • Ensure solutions match requirements, are reliable, secure, and auditable
Operational Ownership
  • Provide 3rd‑line technical support for internal systems
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for integrations
  • Review and optimise data flows and integration performance
Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work with Product & Development, Operations, Finance, Sales, Technical Support, and Customer Success to gather requirements
  • Produce technical and operational documentation and MI dashboards
  • Demonstrate pre-existing competence with, and champion, modern engineering practices and use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor.
Skills and Person Specification
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years commercial development, technical or data engineer/manager experience
  • Strong and demonstrable understanding of modern .NET (C#)
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and auth models (OAuth2, Azure AD)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Boomi, Mulesoft or other IPaaS
  • Experience with Git and Visual Studio
  • Ability to analyse, document and validate end-user requirements
  • A practical, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving ability
  • Comfortable with rapid prototyping and iteration, including AI tool chains
Desirable:
  • Experience integrating with ERP/HCM systems (Sage, Salesforce, Business Central, Oracle, SAP, Workday)
  • Senior Support Engineer or Manager experience and conforming to SLAs
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure, serverless, message-based systems)
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Figma (for rapid prototyping) and Atlassian suite
