Job summary

North Co Recruitment are working with a leading UK health insurer to appoint a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst into their pricing team. This role offers real ownership of model development and the chance to mentor junior colleagues, applying modern data science techniques rather than maintaining legacy approaches.

You will build and evolve pricing risk models across Individual, SME and Corporate portfolios, analyse risk mix and inflation, and present model performance against KPIs to senior

Qualifications

• Significant experience applying modelling techniques to claims data within insurance.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language, ideally Python.
• Experience using Radar or Earnix.
• Exposure to Databricks and Power BI would be an advantage.
• A numerate degree (2:1 or above) in mathematics or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of actuarial techniques, such as reserving.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a range of stakeholders.
• Hybrid working applies, with a mix of home and office-based collaboration.
