Job summary

North Co Recruitment, in partnership with a leading UK health insurer, seeks a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst to push pricing models forward using modern data science techniques. You will mentor junior colleagues and shape best practice across the pricing team.

You'll build and evolve pricing risk models for Individual, SME and Corporate portfolios, analysing risk mix, inflation, and claims trends while ensuring governance and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience using claims data to build pricing models.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with Radar or Earnix tooling.
• Knowledge of Databricks and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve pricing risk models using advanced data science techniques.
• Lead analysis of risk mix, claims trends, inflation and new treatment costs.
• Own documentation and governance for model approval before deployment.
• Test new data sources, factors and feature engineering.
• Present model performance against KPIs to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices across the pricing team.
