Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting a Senior Technical Planner to join our Nuclear; Defence and Civil team in the UK. You will lead planning across significant infrastructure programmes, ensuring schedules are robust, risks are managed, and resources are aligned with cost controls.

The role offers leadership of a planners' team and visibility from day one. You will use Primavera P6, Bentley Synchro, and BIM to create detailed plans, collaborating with project managers, cost engineers, and controls

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, developing detailed resourced schedules, and applying EV techniques on engineering projects.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and managing a portfolio of schedules.
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and innovations in project planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of schedules with clear communications to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure schedules comply with procedures and best practices.
• Apply EV principles, analyse variances, and recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate with lead and management roles to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules and use Bentley Synchro/Primavera P6/BIM.
