An environmental organization is seeking a Senior Technical Peatlands Officer to manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure project delivery on time and budget. The ideal candidate will have a degree in an environmental field and experience working with various stakeholders. This full-time role offers a gross salary range of £34,434 - £37,280 and a contributory pension plan. The position is fixed-term until March 2029, with hybrid working options available.
The Senior Technical Peatlands Officer should be educated to Level 6 (Degree) in an environmental related subject and be experienced in stakeholder management.
S01 -NJC Pts 26-28-15; £34,434 -£37,280 gross per annum.
Contributory pension with employers pension contribution 5% per annum
Appointment will be made at the first point of the scale.
Full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Will require some weekend and evening work.
Based at Mourne Heritage Trust (MHT) offices, 19 Causeway Road, Newcastle with hot desk access at other locations, and hybrid working by agreement. Occasional travel throughout the UK and Ireland will be required.
Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2029, unless SEUPB extension is approved or continued funding becomes available. This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period. Secondment can be considered.
