Job summary

CDP is seeking a Senior Technical Officer, Standards & Frameworks, Strategic Evolution in London. The role focuses on technical rigor for standards alignment across CDP’s disclosure framework, contributing to question bank development, scoring methodologies, and guidance updates.

The position is FTC for 1 year and requires strong English communication and collaboration with internal and external partners. You will engage with standard-setters, translate data into actionable insights, and help

Qualifications

• Professional experience in environmental reporting standards and frameworks.
• Technical expertise in corporate environmental disclosure.
• Understanding of the global sustainability policy agenda.
• Ability to design, implement, and refine operational processes.
• Strong written English and the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Excellent research and analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
• Motivated and collaborative with a proactive working style.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, scientific and analytical rigour to standards and frameworks analysis.
• Support alignment of CDP’s disclosure framework with prioritized standards.
• Develop processes and resources related to standards and framework evolution.
• Author, test and edit questions and guidance content in CDP’s disclosure systems.
• Deliver internal presentations/webinars and engage with standard-setters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance disclosure practices.
