This senior role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, mentoring the claims team and setting technical standards while collaborating with product and engineering to embed claims expertise across the platform.

Qualifications

• Strong motor claims background with deep technical expertise.
• Experience leading technical teams and shaping claims strategy.
• Proven track record in transformation or building in-house capability.
• Knowledge of UK claims process, credit hire, and personal injury expectations.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for complex motor claims, including large loss and catastrophic injury.
• Provide end-to-end oversight from FNOL to settlement for high-value cases.
• Drive technical standards, best practice, and consistency across the claims function.
• Support indemnity spend, reserving strategy, and overall claims performance.
• Mentor and develop the claims team as the function scales and evolves.
