Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technical Manager from a Food/FMCG background for a senior 6-month contract in the North West. You will lead and develop the technical team, manage supplier approvals, audits and BRC compliance, and work closely with Purchasing/Commercial teams on NPD.

The role offers £50,000-£55,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits, with commutable locations from Blackburn, Blackpool, Lancaster, Wigan, Bolton, Burnley, Southport and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Technical Manager from a Food / FMCG background.
• Strong knowledge of food legislation, BRC and specification management.
• Experience with supplier audits, NPD and supplier technical management.
• Leadership experience and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical function and manage/develop the technical team.
• Manage supplier approval, performance, audits and BRC compliance.
• Oversee product specifications, food legislation and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Purchasing/Commercial teams on NPD and supplier approval.
